Certified LTC Risk Manager (CLTCRM) Course 

The Long Term Care Risk Management Certification course is designed for health professionals, administrators and consultants who are seeking initial certification into the profession. The Certified Long Term Care Risk Manager (CLTCRM) designation is a competency based credential that is conferred for one year upon successful completion of the course and the designation must be renewed yearly. Individuals who complete the course and receive the (CLTCRM) designation automatically receive a one year membership in the National Academy of Certified Health Care Risk Managers.

Course Structure 

This course is comprised of four fully online self-paced

modules, and learning activities in each module include assigned readings,

short online videos, knowledge check questions, and case study reviews. The

course is designed to be completed in 40 contact hours.

    Course Faculty
    Kenneth R, Nanni, PH.D., CHCRM

    Kenneth Nanni, Ph.D. is an experienced healthcare practitioner, association executive and Certified Health Care Risk Manager. He completed his undergraduate work in Rehabilitation Services at the University of Florida, his master’s work at Independence University and earned a doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University. He has worked in a variety of health care delivery settings and has completed multiple post graduate training programs including Non-Profit Governance from Harvard University, Executive Leadership from Cornell University and Health Informatics, and Infection Prevention from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Nanni currently serves as the CEO of the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety. He has published several articles on risk management, patient safety compliance and infection control. He is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the Association of Professionals in Infection Control, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the National Association for Healthcare Quality and the Health Care Compliance Association.
